Student Success Statement
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.
TALENT will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost proverb.
EDUCATION will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
President Calvin Coolidge
30th president of US (1862-1900)
I think that what president Coolidge is trying to say in this quote is that if there is nothing can be better than persistence. If you already have it in you, that's great, if not, try the hardest you can to make it grow in you.
